THE OZ biography
The OZ was formed in the summer of 2005 in St. Petersburg, Russia, when a few musicians from some completely non-related bands started working together on an album of punk covers of political and obscure John Lennon songs. After it was all said and done, they named the album "Lennon Punk Revolution". The band has been working on smoothing out the material for the album up until recently by frequently performing in St. Petersburg and Moscow clubs.
Along with the first album, The OZ is currently working on original compositions with English lyrics where punk meets funk. So band's goal for 2007 is to complete a second album of these songs.
The OZ is a very vivid and creative band; therefore we are open to any offers of collaboration regarding concerts as well as studio work. We will be happy to consider any suggestions and offers.
