THE OLD CINEMA

The Old Cinema band was founded in the beginning of July 2006. It was established by two experienced musicians with a passion for music: Wader(ex Zion) and X (Faust Again, ex Noisesession, ex La Aferra). From the very beginning the band set itself a goal to overcome the stereotypes of rock and metal music. It aims to do this by mixing the two music types with melodic guitar sounds and strong vocals. In September 2006 Chupa (None, ex Bare Assed, ex Neurothing) and Krzychu (ex Cambrel) joined the band followed shortly after by Dyzio (Faust Again). The band prepared four promotional singles with an eye to recording a professional EP (Extended Play). In February 2007 The Old Cinema started to work in the recording studio. Robert "Litza" Friedrich became the band's producer. In April a professional photo session occured which resulted in the band's great promotional material. All the band's photos by Paulina Mencel fotPMgraf. In June The Old Cinema started making the video clip "Only Fallen Tears (Part II)" which will be presented after the EP is released. During the making of the clip lots of friends and graduates from the Academy of Art in Poznan took part, however, professional TV cameramen were hired as well. In June our drummer X signed a contract with Premiere (a major drumset manufacturer) which included promotion of the company’s chosen products.
