GANTZ

PROLOGUE:
It was the coldest winter of Finland for a long time.. The temperature was below -30°C for two weeks in a row. At that time in january 2007 two strangers meets..
BIO:
GANTZ was created way back in 1999 by Tupi Jääskeläinen. After some rehearsals and some own songs, the band was held back..
Tupi formed a multi-success-cover act Myrskylintu and did many gigs with it during early 2000. After Myrskylintu (ThunderBird) Tupi worked as a gig salesman for a couple of years. Just before he was ready to throw the towel in with his own music, he met Aleksi Hirvonen..
Aleksi is a guitarist/pianist/composer who has played the guitar since the age of four..
Now he has a home studio where he composes own music and teaches guitar privately.
Aleksi and Tupi met in this cold january day... The musical chemistry synced really well and within a day, the first song (Merimiehen Testamentti (Will of a sailor)) ever co-written by them, was finished. From there the two became friends and now they have
written 20 songs just within the year of 2007. Tupi writes the lyrics mainly and Aleksi focuses on the music. Tupi also sings the vocals on all of GANTZ tunes.
At the moment the duo is happy to create their music in the studio and so far there hasn't risen any need to play live with other instruments, so this band is an insanely creative and fun to do studio project for them.
Future keeps on coming as the studio is about to be upgraded into more sophisticated level with Mac computers and leading software for sequencing drums and what not..
