FEELABOUT biography
Los Angeles Music Awards 17th - Best Rock Band of the Year 2007
FeelAbouT's first version started as "Abstract" and was formed by Roni Weinstock and Nadav Rikover, in the year 2000 in Tel Aviv, Israel.
After two years Weinstock and Rikover decided to change the band's members and invited Guy Fisher, childhood friend to join the band as a lead guitar player, who brought Aviran Rotem to take place as the new BASS player. At the same time an audition were made to find a new drummer for the new lineup. Dror Rostami was chosen to be the band new drummer.
In 2005, Nadav Rikover, one of the founders of the band, co singer and front man has left the band to carry on his own ambitions in other directions.
After establishing a steady line up the band went on tours in the local swamp of pubs and clubs, thrashing numerous stages performing energetic live acts of original materials and covers such as Led Zeppelin, Neil Young, Nirvana and Pearl Jam who are a great influence on the band.
In 2005 the band went in full force to record there first EP album ("Release") in Zaza studios (Tel Aviv, Israel).
The album was produced by Eyal Leon Katzav and mixed by Simon Weinstock. The EP album is 20 minutes including 5 original tracks of alternative – rock – grunge kick ass tunes. After getting the album done the band opened a page in MySpace where the band got over 30,000 plays and many good feedbacks.
These days the band is touring in Israel with intentions to rock stages all over the world.
Thanks to MySpace the band has managed to meet fans from all over the world who wants to help in anyway possible to promote the band.
