ANDZHAN

.. Dj, songwriter & producer Ruslan Andzhan, known as Dj andzhan, was born in 1986, in Riga. And he lives there till now. When Ruslan became 10, he attended ballroom dances for three years. But as he is saying, that most of all he was listening to the music instead of dancing. Day after day, he has been getting interested in music more and more. Then after school, he took music lessons (he took accordion instrument). And his teacher said that, Ruslan has a very good ear. So he got knew seven notes on a keabord, and in 12 years Ruslan have started to create his own music by using just a simple programm (it's better to say - game for playstation - "MUSIC MAKER"). As Ruslan says: - "I don't like to make my music by putting samples each by one. I prefer form zero." Then, in the year 1999, his best friend Igor Teryayev took Ruslan to a school disco, where Igors friend was playing. So after thouse four hours, Ruslan's heart get addicted to djing. He played in school Nr. 46 for a long time, aproximately for 7 years, every friday. Also played in local disco bars, on a privat parties, in Night club Alladin (just once). In the year of 2005 he started to attend dj school in la rocca night club (www.larocca.lv), and now he always will thank resident djs Andrew and Rustem, for teaching him. On the next year he went to dj school in Nautilus night club (www.nautilus.lv). In dj school La rocca he got friend Dj Joker69 (Raimond), after getting a Diploma, they started to play in a night club F, (now known as B-80). Now dj andzhan became a resident dj in the SEASIDE LOUNGE club (www.scp.lv), and huge thanx to Dj Plastic for the invitation and for beeing my friend!!! So dj andzhan's life is all around music. He works in a music record store RANDOMS (www.randoms.lv), playing in a clubs, and creating his own trance..... As he says: - "Music always will be a part of me, because life is nothing without music". Now he is working on his own lable and record studio... Andzhan is making a new project - "Total immersion one" to create a different kind of electronic music. His mission is to bring Latvian people alive and to open their eyes on dance music culture in country.
